Nurture Your Customers & Leads By Offering Them Value (& Gaining Their Trust)

Once you have a new customer or a lead, you need to “warm them up” by gaining their trust and offering them REAL VALUE. This means information and ideas that they love, for free.

One way to do this is to send them a monthly newsletter via email and/or mail. I like to send it via email and I use my GetOiling account to do it. I know others use a service called FloDesk, but I haven’t personally used it. I use Get Oiling because of the database management, and, they also offer a free blog with the account. I post a page on the blog as the newsletter, and then easily email it to everyone in my database. However you do it, the newsletter is a good way to stay in touch and offer value.

On top of the newsletter, you should consider sending out an email or two each month that REALLY OFFERS VALUE. Something they can’t resist opening, and something they see as you giving them value for free. For me, I have found that offering recipes for DIY natural things – helping them save money – is good.
