Raising kids gives you enough to worry about—let Young Living’s gentle, all-natural children’s products make your job a little easier. These essential oils, body care products, supplements, and beyond are designed to help you care for your little ones.
Here are a few tips for what oils to use with your kids:
- Lavender is a wonderful calming oil. It supports a good night sleep. Rub several drops on your child’s feet at night. If they like the smell, put a few drops on their pillow. Some kids like to call Lavender the “sleepy oil.” It is also great supporting healthy skin whenever your child has a ‘boo boo.’ Put a little lavender on under that bandaid to keep germs at bay and everything healing nicely.
- Tangerine has been shown in studies to support a healthy nervous system. It literally calms everyone down. It also has a nice scent that supports a happy mood. Teachers like to diffuse in the classroom to bring the level of activity down a notch.
- Lemon is used in university studies to help you retain knowledge when you study with it. Have your child diffuse Lemon while studying and then when he or she takes the test the next day, wear a little Lemon on a diffuser necklace or rub some on right before the test. The memories of what you studied attach to the scent and the scent helps recall them. This is great for teens and young university studies as well. Lemon (as well as all citrus oils) also supports a happy mood.
- Endoflex is a hormone balancing oil that is great for kids of all ages, but especially TEENAGERS! Oh my word! I can’t tell you how many testimonials I have heard with teenagers experiencing extreme mood fluctuations and seeing a huge difference after applying Endoflex on their wrists or back of the neck. My own teenager has his own bottle!
Most essential oils are fine to use on children. When a child is under two years old, it is often recommended to dilute essential oils with a carrier oil and apply to their feet. If you are concerned at all, purchase Young Living’s special oil products designed with kids in mind.
